We carry out a monthly Friends & Family Patient Survey. In Aug 2019, 91% of patients surveyed said they would recommend us to their friends and family. Patient comments from monthly FFT Surveys: Great Service; Kind and friendly staff; The kindness of the GP; Very Good GP, relatively easy to get appointment, good preventative care; Dr C is an excellent doctor; I have already referred a friend to your practice just last week; The attitude & general manner of the doctor was excellent. You will of course want to read the survey for yourself but some headlines  in our action plan…

  • 97% (91% in 2013) would recommend the practice
  • 97 % (88% in 2013)  described their experience of the surgery as being excellent/good (In England  in 2012/13 average was 87%)
  • 95% (94% in 2013) feel it is important to be able to book ahead
  • 95% (90% in 2013) say they find it “very easy/easy to book ahead (In England  in 2012/13 average was 76%)
  • 84% (91% in 2013) say they find it easy to get through to someone on the phone (In England  in 2012/13  average was 22%)
  • 76% (84% in 2013)  say that they find our appointment times convenient

  • 83% (89% last quarter survey) would recommend the practice.
  • 95% (90% last quarter survey) described their experience of the surgery as being very good/good (In England in 2012/13 the average was 86%).
  • 95% (97% last quarter survey) say they have confidence and trust in GP (In England in 2012/13 the average was 64%).
  • 95% (94% last quarter survey) say they have confidence and trust in practice nurse.
  • 99% (96% last quarter survey) say our reception staff are helpful (In England in 2012/13 the average was 76%).
  • 95% (92% last quarter survey) say they find it easy to get through to someone on the phone (In England in 2012/13 the average was 74%).
  • 89% (90% last quarter survey) say that they are satisfied with our opening times and 74% (81% last quarter survey) say that they find our opening times convenient (In England in 2012/13 the average was 79%).
  • 59 % (64% last quarter survey) of patients said that they had to wait 5 -15 minutes before being seen and 24% (19% last quarter survey) said they had to wait more than 15 minutes. However at the same time 69% (71% last quarter survey) had the impression of that they do not have wait long at the surgery. This we feel reflects the time our GPs and nurses spend with patients – 95% (90% last quarter survey) of patients say that the doctor spends time with them and 93% (94% last quarter survey) say the nurse spends time with them
